The Ontario Federation of Agriculture is promoting well water testing in 2020.
All farm and rural property owners are encouraged to regularly test their well water for bacterial contamination at least three times per year through public health offices. OFA also encourages rural property owners to invest in testing for other potential contaminants such as metals, minerals and salts. The Ontario Ground Water Association offers testing packages for these and other contaminants such as fuels, solvents , fluoride and pesticides. Click here to read the full OFA commentary.
