Call for Applications for the Agricultural Sector Representative Member on the Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee 

April 23, 2021 

The Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Region invites eligible candidates to fill one vacancy on the multi-stakeholder Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee, to represent the agricultural sector. If you are collaborative, solutions oriented, and have an interest in local watersheds and drinking water mattersplease submit your application by May 31, 2021, to sourceprotection@hrca.on.ca 

The Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Region is comprised of the areas of Halton Region and Hamilton Region Conservation AuthoritiesMap: http://www.protectingwater.ca/docandmaps.cfm 

The Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee was established in accordance with the Clean Water Act, 2006The role of the Committee is to guide the review and updating of the source protection plan using a science-based approach and consider relevant information. The Committee is comprised of nine members and the Chair. The members act as liaisons for their sectors, and regularly attend committee and public meetings.
